This creamy homemade Bolognese cooks in one jar in about 25 minutes. Traditional Bolognese simmers for hours on the stove. In the JESE Heated Pro, the meat, vegetables and tomatoes go in raw, you press CHUNKY SOUP, and a splash of cream finishes it at the end. Serves 2 over pasta.

How to Make It
- Fill the jar. Add the beef, pork, vegetables, tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, olive oil, seasonings and wine. Keep the contents below the hot MAX line on the jar.
- Start the program. Press MENU until CHUNKY SOUP flashes, then press START/END.
- Finish with cream. When the countdown shows 5 minutes left, open the small lid and add the heavy cream, lemon juice and cornstarch slurry. Let the program finish.
- Serve. Pour the sauce over freshly cooked pappardelle or fettuccine and toss to coat.
Tips
- Deeper flavor: Raw ground meat cooks well right in the jar. For a richer base, brown the beef and pork in a little butter first.
- Adjust the thickness: Add a little water or broth for a looser sauce.
- Watch the MAX line: The broth is optional. Leave it out if the jar is close to the hot MAX line.
- No wine? Replace it with the same amount of broth.
FAQ
Why use CHUNKY SOUP for a sauce?
CHUNKY SOUP cooks the meat through while keeping some texture, so the sauce stays hearty instead of turning into a smooth purée.
Can I put raw ground meat in the heated blender?
Yes. The program heats and cooks the meat in the jar, so everything goes in raw.
Can I freeze this Bolognese?
Yes. Cool it completely, then freeze in airtight containers for up to 3 months.
Can I make it without pork?
Yes. Use 14 oz (400 g) ground beef in total.
